The University offers the Professional Education Programme for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders in
veterinary science (PEPA). PEPA is designed to provide alternative entry for Indigenous people into
Veterinary science, and additional academic support for Indigenous science students in areas such as
Biomedicine, Chiropractic, and Biological Science.
Applicants for PEPA are selected according to their motivation, skills, abilities, academic background
and work experience. A background in science is not a pre-requisite, but is advantageous once studies
commence.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people interested in applying to study Veterinary Science should
request an application form from PEPA's Education Officer. Advice about applying for other science
degrees at Murdoch University can also be provided by the PEPA Education Officer.

each year.
